Wednesday we woke up to about a foot of very heavy wet snow on the ground. We were told it would rain and maybe some snow but we were not ready for this!
The snow was so heavy it weighed the trees down. Many branches were snapped. This is a picture looking down out lane west to 600 E. All the trees along the lane bent over and created a tree tunnel for us to drive through.

We have two flowering cherry trees-one on each side of our driveway-we lost many limbs of these trees. You can see here ad they touch the ground.
Once the sun came out, the snow melted pretty fast. Here are some pictures of what the trees looked like without the snow.
Brandon has cut the broken limbs off and stacked them up in a pile waiting to head to my parents for burn day. I did manage to get some pictures of some of the beautiful blossoms limbs unharmed just to remind myself it was really spring.

Oh my goodness, look at all that snow. That is crazy to me...it is cold here, but I forget when it is cold here it snows there :) Burr! Glad it is all melted. PS those flowers are beautiful!
