Monday November 15th Ethan, Annie and Shayne our cousin who is staying with us were playing in Annie's room. Ethan was giggling and laughing and running around Shayne when he tripped and hit his eye on the corner of Annie's bed frame. His eye immediately swelled up and then started bleeding. I handed him to Shayne (it was a good thing he was there to help) and call the doctor. With Annie's stitches they were able to do them in the office so I wanted to see if this was an option. They had me bring him in right away. My Mom met us there to help with Annie, but when the nurse saw how close to the eye it was she decided that we needed to go to the ER since he would need to be sedated. So on our way to the American Fork ER we went.
My Mom took Annie to her house so it was just Shayne and I. They got us right back and started the process. 5 stitches later and still a little drugged Ethan started waking up. He was like a little drunk baby trying to talk and move around. Once it wore off which was pretty fast we were allowed to go. The next Saturday we got them out and you can hardly tell they were there! It healed well and he survived just fine.
