Trip To CA to Meet The Babies

Thursday we left for our trip to CA to meet the babies. An hour before we were to head to the airport we took Annie to the doctor for what we thought would be nothing big. She had cold like symptoms for a few days and was getting a small fever. We thought that they would tell it it was just a cold and we would be fine-but no-she had a double ear infection!!! I had no idea! She was not pulling at her ears or anything. So the doctor told us we could not fly for a week. Since the car was all packed we drove! It was great to get away and see our Elmer family.

First born was Keaton Dean John Hawkes. He was born on September 21st. Here he is with his Mom Leslie. He has such a cute smile!

Next is sweet Emily Sophia Elmer who was born among the firestorm on October 22nd. She was born to Robert and Mairin. She is so cute and sweet! I can tell she and Annie will be great friends!

Later Robert wanted to curl up with Annie in her pack and play. At first she was not sure what was going on then she got mad at him and wanted him out!

We left Sunday to drive home but had to stop overnight due to the treat of bad weather. We got home yesterday safe and sound. Thanks Robert and Mairin for letting us take over your living room and also thanks Mom and Dad for letting us hang out and for teaching us how to make beads. We has a blast! Cannot wait to see most of you for Christmas!
