Annie's 9 Month Appointment

Yesterday we went to Annie's 9 month appointment. My Dad was in town getting ready to close escrow on their new house, so he came along too! Here are her stats:

Length: 28 inches (75%-he mentioned that he thought she would be tall)
Weight:15 lbs 4os (5-10% ouch!)
Head: 45cm (75%)

So if you cannot tell from the stats-she needs to gain weight. She eats anything and everything she can-but she needs more I guess. So I am to only nurse her 2 times a day and then replace the other two feedings with whole milk. He said that is around this time that they do not get the calories that they need for nursing and he was not worried about the milk since the only reason to hold off it to make sure they are not allergic, and since that does not run in the family he said it should be just fine. So it's whole milk for her. Also she is to get cereal with two meals, and two size 2 things of food with each meal and then snacks in between! The motto is Calories, calories, calories!

Other then that the appointment went great-she got one shot and did just fine!

Let her enjoy it. This is probably the only time in her life she'll be told to EAT, EAT, EAT.
