This last weekend we went camping at one of our favorite spots, Garnet Flats Campground in the American Fork Canyon. My cousin Sierra came with us. She is 7 years old and a wonderful help! We left Friday after work, and after a stop at Grandma and Grandpa Elmer's for wood we were off! Annie did great. She was frustrated that we would not let her crawl in the dirt, but we did make sure she has shoes on so that we could walk with her. We would also bring the pack and play out for her to play around in.
Sierra loves playing with Annie. She would share her stuff dog (in the picture), help me change her diaper, get things for her and even hold her.

While Brandon and Sierra set up the tent Annie supervised.
She was climbing all over this chair all night!

Hiking is hard work!

Getting Messy!

Oh my goodness time for a bath! She sure loved it!

Sierra the tree hugger

We took the dive up the mountain to Silverlake again this year-but the lack of snow this last winter took it's toll. The water was way low but it was still beautiful!

Here we are at Cascade Springs!
The springs are fed by precipitation from the mountains above. 7 million gallons of water a day reach the surface of impermeable rock, and flow out to feed the springs.
Annie being cute!
