Happy Halloween & Happy B-day Annie!

Friday was Halloween and Annie's 2nd birthday! The night before I were were carving pumpkins at my parents since we figured that they would be appreciated more there since we do not get Trick or Treaters up our dark dirt road (which what could be more spooky? You would think they would want to come visit a dark dirt road-oh well). Annie was not into carving pumpkins like she was last year. She is into having her hands clean and one scoop of the insides and she wanted her hands washed and she was find watching. Not sure where she got that! She loves play dough, dirt, paint on her hands. Brandon, Ben and Tara carved the pumpkins we got.

Halloween day Brandon got off work early. Well ok they had to cut hours again at his work and it was his turn to leave, but it worked out nice! He picked up Annie early from my Mom's and brough ther to my work for Trick or Treating. She got the idea right away. She would walk into and office grab a piece of candy and be on to the next office. She was a lady bug this year. A very cute one too if I might add.

I was Minnie Mouse again, but this was the first time in 3 years! Once day I might be something different-maybe.
Brandon was one of the Imagination Movers. Since he looks just like Smitty we decided that is what he would be.
This picture is the best-the look on my Dad's face is great even though he knew Brandon was going to jump off the steps.
We went Trick or Treating in a negibhood near my parents (since ours if full of steep hills). Annie loved it. She would knock on the door herself-we rang the doorbell as well since her knock is quite. Once they opened the door she would walk right in! It was pretty funny and thankfully since she is cute people did not mind. She would not say anything at the door. We worked on saying Trick or Treat, it would just come out as "Treat!" but when we got to a house she got shy. We ended the night at the Great Ones right as it started to rain. Her first time trick or treating was pretty good! She loves all the "treats" she got.
