Fire at Bridal Veil Falls

On July 24th somewhere close to midnight a fire was noticed at Bridal Veil Falls. They deteminded it was man made, and it was just the old "Falls Restaurant " at the top that was on fire. Well it spread, but by this last weekend they had it mostly out. There was just a few little spots that would need to burn themselves out. It was so minor that we did not see any smoke on the way camping or on the way home. Then later Sunday evening we saw tons of smoke coming from the Provo Canyon. We drove by to see what was going on. The peak on the other side of the fall was now on fire. They had one helicopter who was getting water from the Provo river and dumping it on the mountain. They must have gotten most of it out since I did not see any more smoke yesterday.
