Provo Balloon Festival

Saturday the 5th we went to the Balloon Festival in Provo. We went when I was pregnant with Annie and loved it. We could not wait to see what she thought. My Mom brought Ben over at 6am and off we went! They had about 17 balloons this year, a few were still on the ground when we got there.
Right as we got out of the car, Annie pointed to the sky and said "cool"!
That has been her new word.
Because they have a Smoky the Bear Balloon, Smokey was there to pose for pictures and give out Frisbees. She has a Smokey toy that stays in the trailer, so I think she thought it was fun to see the "real thing".
The winds were not in favor for the balloons to come back to the field this day, so that was bummer but it was still fun to hang out and watch them.
Ben and Annie played while we waited to see if any would come back. They danced and played Frisbees (or fetch in Annie's case).
Then little Miss Independent came. She had to carry her own chair. It was slowing us down so after a little while Brandon picked her up and carried her and the chair but she still had to have it in her hands!
After leaving the park we headed to Ben's favorite breakfast spot-Ihop. He loves the stuffed French toast. Annie wanted to read her menu and pick her own food out. After breakfast-it was home for a nap until the next adventure that day.
