18 Month Appointment

Today Annie had her 18 month appointment. While waiting for the nurse to come in and make sure she was hitting all the development milestones that she should, Annie explored every drawer that did not have a child proof lock on it. She found these tubs and was just the right size! For those of you not familiar with the well child check ups-when they are babies they have you undress them so the doctor can check everything, good weight and can do the shots. Before the doctor cam in she was picking up the tools he uses to look in her ears and shined it in her mouth and said "aw". Then Dr. Spencer came in. He just loves Annie. He thinks that she is cool, and the best patient. When he needed the other ear she turned and did not give a fuss at all. He was excited to hear that she loved to be outdoors and eats everything! After he looked her ears, we were talking we found her doing this,
It's amazing how fast they pick things up! It went from being a tool that looks in your mouth to what it is really for. The appointment went well and here are her stats!

Weight: 21 lbs 3 oz (still 10%tile)
Length: 31.5 inches (still 50-75th %tile)
Head: 48.3 cm (shot up to 75th-guess her head really grew these last few months!)

Next appointment at 2 years! I cannot believe that is only 6 months away!

Sounds like she's growing very well! She certainly looked like a little doll when I saw you at Target today. :)

Do you go to Alpine Peds? I love that place! I am really looking forward to having better insurance when Ryan's done with school!
